"Most excellent," says the tall man, with a relieved smile. He extends his left hand. "They call me Ambrose the Ambidextrous. I'm not really," he says, lowering his voice to a stage-whisper, "but you know how Merry Men -- and women -- can be about names. It's kind of a stage-name."

Raising his voice to a normal level, Ambrose continues. "We need more straight-forward men -- and women -- like you. I'd be honoured if you'd join my Merry Band of Thieves. Don't worry, we'll pay for the uniform."

As you shake hands with Ambrose, you take a look at your new band-mates. This is certainly going to be an interesting experience.
