"Most excellent," says the tall man, with a relieved smile. He extends his left hand.
"They call me Ambrose the Ambidextrous. I'm not really," he says, lowering his voice to a
stage-whisper, "but you know how Merry Men -- and women -- can be about names. It's kind of a
stage-name."
Raising his voice to a normal level, Ambrose continues. "We need more straight-forward men
-- and women -- like you. I'd be honoured if you'd join my Merry Band of Thieves. Don't worry,
we'll pay for the uniform."
As you shake hands with Ambrose, you take a look at your new band-mates. This is certainly going to be an interesting experience.
