Items for the Novice Trainer

Welcome to Lesson 2 of the Pokehut Newbie Resources. Today's lesson involves the items that you can find on the Battleground. There are two main Battlegrounds where you can find items from the Pokemon Gameboy Game. They are Pewter City Pokemon Centre and Celadon City Megamart. In these two Battlegrounds, you will find various items that your Pokemon can use. In some cases, you may have to use the item on the Pokemon (e.g. if your Pokemon is asleep).
In the chart below, "heals" means that it undoes damage (so if your Pokemon was badly hurt before, it will feel a bit better). "Cures" means that it keeps the situation from getting worse, but does not undo damage that has already happened.
Remember, if you use an item on a Pokemon, you cannot give it any commands on that turn.

All of the information on this page is taken from the Pokehut Phase Two Website. Except, of course, for the bits that I made up or took from my knowledge of the game.
