Here are the unknown creatures of Mata Nui, the multi-legged beasties.
. . . The Stone River Spider
The Stone River Spider is not, in fact, a true spider. It is a six-legged insect making its nest
among the black reeds alongside the Stone River. While completely black in its juvenile form,
the Stone River Spider's hind legs take on a blue tint, and its bright blue fangs become more
prominent as it reaches sexual maturity. Once mature, the Stone River Spider can also skim and
skate along the surface of the water; it is also known as the Stone River Skimmer for this reason.
